Ducati 2022 950SP Hypermotard
Early in 2005, Ducati designer Pierre Terblanche began work on the machine which was presented as a concept machine at the Milan show. It was very well received, and as a result company president Federico Minoli gave the project his approval.
In 2019 it became a 950, which Motorcycle News termed "the consummate street hooligan."
It was further modified in 2021, specifications given by Ducati as 112 horspeower and 71 lb-ft of torque, 937cc - the same engine was used in the Monster and SuperSport 950. The 950SP was fitted with Öhlins suspension, Marchesini wheels and a bi-directional quickshifter.

Ducati 2022 998
Fitted with the Testastretta engine which won the WSBK championship in 996R guise, it deliverd 123 hp and 71 lb-ft, up from the 112hp and 67 foot pounds of the previous model. Motorcyclist magazine wrote, "...overall, this 998 feels more like a 748 that swallowed a really big gulp of nitrous than it does a 996." Their review concluded with a simple statement: "Although it inspired Honda RC51s, Suzuki TLs and Aprilias, there's still nothing in the world quite like the 916, sorry 998, all these years later."
