Originally exported to the US, this 750 GT ES was imported to Australia in early 2012 and then restored. Only 329 electric start GTs were produced in 1973 and a further 201 the following year. This is a 1974 bike and its engine number of 754045 is very close to the time the leading axle Marzocchi front forks (as seen here) were replaced by centre-axle units. Also at this time Brembo calipers replaced the Scarab units (the latter fitted here) and 860GT electrical parts, such as the CEV handlebar switches & dash panel (as on this bike) replaced the earlier Aprilia switches. The handlebar itself is the lower, European type. Non-original air filters. 57hp at 7,700rpm.
