A restored 1974 750SS - the famous 'Greenframe'. This is one of the 33 originally exported to Australia. Probably the most desirable of all production Ducatis, the SS was the most exotic race replica of its time and was inspired by the 1972 Imola 200 race winning (and 2nd place) bikes. Supposedly 411 were built (although other opinion says about 160 is closer to the mark), almost all in 1974 - a handful of pre-production bikes, based on the 750 Sport, were constructed in 1973 - and featured the first production use of desmodromic valve gear on Ducati's V-twin motor.
