SPECIFICATION

ENGINE.

"New-Hudson" 4 stroke, 63 x 80 bore and stroke 249 c.c. Aluminium alloy piston. Connecting Rod mounted with double row roller bearings on large diameter crankshaft.

GEARS.

Sturmey-Archer 3-Speed Gear Box with gear selector and integrally mounted long lever gear change control (ratios 6.5, 10 and 19 to 1). Enclosed kick-starter mechanism.

FRAME.

Light but sturdy construction, providing low and safe riding position.

TRANSMISSION. Renold Chains throughout. Shock absorber on engine shaft.

LUBRICATION. Mechanical Pump forming an integral part of the engine timing case.

TYRES. Dunlop Cord, large diameter, 26 x 3 in.

BRAKES. Internal Expanding front and rear.

SADDLE. Lycett "Aerolastic" Super Saddle.

TANK.

Large capacity saddle tank of new design, containing both petrol and oil.

HANDLEBAR.

Semi-Sports pattern, adjustable for height and reach.

CARBURETTER. Binks’ Sports with 2-lever control.

IGNITION.

"M-L" Magneto and special Lodge Sparking Plug.

WEIGHT.

To standard specification but without lighting equipment, 193 lbs.
