Garelli produced hundreds of thousands of Mosquito two-stroke cyclemotors, a bicycle attachment engine with roller drive to the tyre, the first appearing in 1946, the 38A. The 38B was introduced in 1953 and was enlarged from the earlier 38.5cc to 49cc.

In 1956 they released the three-speed 315 Mosquito moped.
