David Citroen of Minerva UK was the driving force behind the export of the Minerva product, and as a result many Australian motorcycle manufacturers fitted these engines. From 1901 complete engines were exported to Australia, and later they were built there by A.G. Healing Ltd, under license, until 1910.
Quite frequently registration records will show the brand of a motorcycle as "Minerva". Authorities at the time would note the brand of the engine as the brand of the motorcycle.
