Manufactured by Wagener Bros, 149 Rundle St, Adelaide from 1906 using Minerva and Peugeot engines. One of the brothers, Ted, left the firm to form his own business building motorcycles named Blue Spec .
In 1913 William Wagener built Blue Bell motorcycles, still in Adelaide but at a different address.

Terry Parker writes in the vvmccsa.org.au magazine (Feb 2020), "It is well known that W Wagener built the Bluebell motorcycle at Payneham Road Maylands from the early 1900's." (Saward gives the address as Payneham Rd, College Park).
N.B. Another Blue Bell was built by H. Canet of Shepparton, Victoria.
