The NSU Maxi Type 175 OSB was launched in 1957, developed from NSU Superfox. The single-cylinder four-stroke engine developed 12.5hp delivered via a 4-speed gearbox giving a claimed top speed of 110 km/h. Almost 31,500 Maxis were built in Germany by the time it was discontinued in 1964. The Maxi was also built in Yugoslavia under licence by NSU-Pretis of Sarajevo.
