In 1918 Carbine & Collier 2-Speed Cycle Co merged with E.W.Brown, forming Carbine Cycle Co & E.W.Brown. The firm then became the Carbine Motor Co before merging with the Turner Bros to form Turner Bros & Carbine Motor Co., and shortly thereafter was renamed Turner Bros & Co. [1]
EWB
During this period, they acquired the EWB (Edward Walker Brown) marque. It appears this brand was abandoned after the 1918 acquisition.
Invincible-JAP
From 1922 until about 1928 the Firth Bros built the Invincible-JAP for Turner Bros.
Turner
The Turner Brothers firm built Turner motorcycles from 1914 to 1919, and also built machines for Carbine.
Simplex
In 1936 the Turner Brothers advertised the Simplex Villiers in a range of sizes and models, most with a Burman gearbox.
Registration records list Simplex as available from 1924 to 1939, all powered by the Villiers.
Studebaker
With showrooms at 400 Swanston Street Turner Bros & Co were sole Victorian agents for Studebaker cars in 1918
