Whitewebbs Museum of Transport

Whitewebbs Road, Enfield EN2 9HW, England
Phone: 020 8367 1898

"The museum is owned and operated by the Enfield and District Veteran Vehicle Trust, a registered charity. Everybody involved is an enthusiast and volunteer, so if you would like to help, give us a call. The building is an 1898 pumping station that was purchased by the Trust in 1986 in a near derelict state. It originally housed two steam engines and boilers which pumped water from the well below the building into the New River."

The museum's attractive collection of around 40 motorcycles includes: Matchless T3 500cc of 1928, 1947 Manx Norton, 1939 Rudge Sport 250, 1928 Douglas Brooklands Special, 1966 Ariel Pixie, Levis Popular, 1922 Dunelt 500cc supercharged two-stroke, 1930s Martin-JAP speedway machine, and one of the oldest motorcycles in the UK, an 1899 Holden Flat Four - all surrounded by automobilia and classic cars.

Adjacent to the automotive museum is a seriously good model railway collection.
