Brommer- & Motormuseum
"In the heart of Drenthe lies Schoonoord. A village with a rich history surrounded by hunebeds and above the Assen circuit. Here in Schoonoord there is a special collection, brought together in a museum where many motorharts go faster.
"You will find, among other things, the start of the motorization of the Netherlands. The world got bigger due to the advent of engines and mopeds.
Over 50 brands such as Zundapp, Kreidler, Puch, a 1936 Scott, a 1939 Batavus and a real Indian of 2003. Of the last, only 400 were made. Perhaps the most famous motorcycle is Pierre Karsmakers from 1982 or is it a Yamaha Grasshopper that has already seen a lot of the world!
The museum is a private collection, visits are by appointment..."
