Metisse House, Carswell, Oxfordshire
The new owner of Metisse, Gerry Lisi, announced the Mk5 in 2005 with a new frame and an 8-valve DOHC Adelaide parallel twin 997cc engine, designed and built in the Carswell workshops.
This was followed in 2008 by the Steve McQueen Desert Race replica project. Those involved included McQueen's son Chad, and Dave Ekins, brother of Bud Ekins. This was a limited edtion of 300.
In 2022 the firm acquired the trademark for the Rickman Metisse name.
