A Brief History of the Italian Marque
The Faini (R. & F. F.lli Faini) in 1923, produced in its Lecco workshops a 98cc (or possibly 106cc) two-stroke bicycle engine with two-speeds and belt drive.
The engine is located in the center of the frame's triangle, attached to the tube that connects the seat to the pedals.
Another of the firm's machines was a lightweight 124cc motorcycle with chain drive designed by the talented Pietro Vassena, who also designed the engine used in the Amisa.
With this engine he won his category in a race organized by Motociclismo magazine in March 1923.
The sales showroom and warehouse were located at Via Bongos 84.
