A Brief History of the Marque
P. Raebel GmbH of Berlin-Weissensee, Lehder Str. 36/38, active in the 1920s and '30s.
The firm, which was involved with Mars-Werke, built sidecars typical of the era, perched high on the chassis with a door on the right and rudimentary leaf-spring suspension.
Elsewhere it is writtem: Köhler, Erna - chweinfurt/Main. Around 1933 a model with a steered sidecar wheel was introduced.
It is possible that there were two different German companies in the pre-war years using the "Ideal" brand. Another appeared in the 1950s.
