1896 Public company. The company was registered on 30 May, to take over the business of firm of the same name, manufacturers of cycle lamps. They became well-known for their acetylene lamps.
1920 October. Exhibited at the Commercial Motor Exhibition at Olympia with electrical lighting equipment for commercial vehicles.
1961 Manufacturers of cycle and motor cycle electrical equipment.
Postwar production included electrical components for a wide range of British machines including Velocette, supplying dynamo and lighting sets, coil ignition, flywheel magnetos and a wide range of switches. Examples of their catalogues may be viewed here: Motorcycle Electrics.
In the 1950s and 60s the H Miller company had a branch in Hazebrouck, in NE France, home to the famed manufacturer Lucer.

Think I have identified it as a "Trojan Mini Motor". Electrics are by H Miller and Co, turns out that where the casting of the name was, isn't a part of the crankcase but a separate plate.
