Le forcelle idrauliche Marzocchi
L'officina meccanica di Stefano e Guglielmo Marzocchi, in via Zannoni 64, produce il ciclomotore Grillo di 49 cc. a rullo con avviamento a pedale.
Nello stesso 1950 i due fratelli, già tecnici della SSR Ducati, progettano e realizzano una nuova forcella idraulica telescopica e un ammortizzatore idraulico, che avranno grande successo e determineranno la futura produzione della ditta.
Le forcelle Marzocchi saranno montate dal 1952 su moto firmate Mondial, CM, Maserati, Ducati. La messa a punto delle sospensioni avverrà anche con la partecipazione a gare di velocità e durata quali il Motogiro d'Italia o la Milano-Taranto.
Dal 1957 la produzione sarà effettuata nel nuovo stabilimento di Casalecchio di Reno.

Marzocchi hydraulic forks
1950
Stefano and Guglielmo Marzocchi established a workshop at via Zannoni 64, Bologna, in 1950.
Their first product was the 49cc Grillo moped with roller drive and pedal start.
That same year the two brothers, former technicians at Ducati, designed and built a new telescopic hydraulic fork and a hydraulic shock absorber which became enormously successful and determined the future of the company.
Marzocchi forks were adopted in the early 50s by Mondial, CM, Maserati and Ducati. The suspension was fine-tuned with the company's participation in speed and endurance event such as the Motogiro d'Italia and the Milan-Taranto.
In 1957 a new factory was established at Casalecchio di Reno, 10km west of central Bologna.
