Maquitrans Triciclos and Scooters

Manufactured by Maquinaria y Elementos de Transporte, a firm established in Barcelona (Luchana, 99) after the Civil War. Known as both MT and Maquitrans, the company built around 20 three-wheeled microcars in 1957. Prior to that they built, from around 1950, scooters powered by their own 175cc engines, and 3-wheel utility scooters.

In 1958 they formed a partnership with another firm in Barcelona, Cliper, who imported Ducati motorcycles. The new firm was named Mototrans.
