ADM

Manufactured touring and competition motorcycles with two-stroke engines of 125cc. Production began in 1987. Unrelated to ADM of Switzerland.

  • Astra - according to Manuel Baró this may have been an autocycle built in Guernica, Vizcaya around 1950, and is possibly related to the Astra weapons factory. OTTW

  • Talleres de Gal of Calle Aguirre 3, Madrid, advertised as a manufacturer of engines and motorcycles in 1952. An article on Eduardo Barreiros, who became a major force in the Spanish automotive industry, says that "...in 1952 he acquired the GAL workshops (los talleres GAL), of about two thousand square meters, located in the Villaverde neighborhood (Madrid), next to the Andalusia highway. Two years later, together with his brother Valeriano, he founded Barreiros Diesel."
