A Brief History of the Marque
Manufactured: 1957-
The FBM concern was renamed FB Minarelli and continued production of the P4 48cc 4hp two-strokes, and in 1963 the P1 reappeared without change other than an automatic clutch. In 1967 they released a new 158.4cc engine, the 160, developing 10.5 hp at 6000 rpm. This was followed by a 49.6cc single speed automatic in 1969.
In 1966 they began building 60cc competition two-strokes for privateers.
The range was extended in 1970 with several new models: the V2 50cc horizontal engine with automatic clutch, the P6 with six-speed transmission, the EZ 50cc single speed of 50cc and the W3 50cc three-speed. A powerful 175cc four-speed was also added.
