Dreadnought was a motorcycle produced from 1915 to 1922 by William Lloyd's Cycles of Freeman Street, Birmingham (where they also built the LMC).
Like many other firms of that time, they adopted the two-stroke 269cc Villiers engine. With an Albion two-speed gearbox and belt final-drive, the specification was simple and lasted until well after the Great War. A single-speed version was available in 1921, and production was taken over around 1922 by Suley Squire Ltd.
W.A. Lloyd Cycle Fittings Ltd was dissolved about 1923.
An earlier Dreadnought was built around 1902 by Harold Karslake. There is no relationship.
