Moglia Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Italian Marque

Manufactured: 1920s

The Moglia company based in via Valparaiso, Milan, produced bicycles under the Oswego brand and motorcycles under the brand name Mafalda.

The Milanese firm, DKW representative for Lombardy, Veneto and Trentino, sold a DKW engine which also mounted on their motorcycles.

Mafalda-DKW branded motorcycles are manufactured with belt drive, and the brand Standard Mafalda with chain drive.

Moglia acquired Parvus in 1926 and uses those engines on the Mafalda motobiciclette.

Oswego Biciclette

Marque used by L. & C. Moglia for the construction of bicycles, although it appears that the brand was also used for motorcycles.
