LGM Roadracing Motorcycles

The company built GP racers of 50cc to 125cc capacity.

LGM was raced in GP events by S. Zattoni and Ezio Mischiatti in 1978, Massimo de Lorenzi in 1984, and Éric Saul in 1986.

The small Italian manufacturer based in Rastellino and Panzano has a complex history. The firm's initials are from the names Mario Lorenzoni (financier), Gianni Ribuffo (rider) and Paolo Marcheselli (engineer). Formed in 1973 the company built a 125cc two stroke twin GP machine powered by Yamaha. They also build a 50cc GP motorcycle. Later, in collaboration with ex-Benelli Works Mechanic Eugenio Lazzarini, LGM built a 50cc GP motorcycle based on a Kreidler engine. In 1980 Eugenio Lazzarini won the World Championship on this motorcycle, entered as an Iprem."
