A Brief History of the Marque
Manufactured: 1958-1960
Established by famed Italian cyclist Fausto Coppi (he won five Giros d’Italia and two Tours de France), the company first produced mopeds with engines from BRM after an agreement with Riccardo Bellentani in November of 1957. Fausto unexpectedly died of Malaria, aged 40, after only 30 of the initial order of 300 48cc two-stroke engines had been delivered. The new owners fitted different engines to the second model, an attractive 3-speed sports machine with saddle tank, dual seat, swinging arm rear suspension and telescopic forks.
