Dyson-Motorette was a motorcycle produced during the first "scooter craze", from about 1920 to 1922.
It was an early attempt to produce a scooter and was very short-lived. It was designed with the weight around the rear wheel, the 1½ hp engine on one side and the fuel tank above.
The Dyson Motorette used a complete Wall Auto Wheel as its rear wheel and power unit, and was sold through Gamages Department Store in London; Gamages also sold their products through a mail order catalogue. This make of scooter may also have been known as an Auto Wheel Motorette.
