Hilfsmotor. A bicycle attachment engine with an inverted cylinder, fitted above the rear wheel.

Manufacturer: Brdr. Bojsen, Esbjerg. Engine BBE 1955: A/S Minimotor, Horsens. Also used Italian Totaco engines built under licence in Denmark.

Liberty
Built the Liberty Standard moped ca.1962 using engines from SCO and BFC. It had swingarm rear suspension and an unusual frame.

Manufacturer: A. Saabye, Snorresgade 15, Copenhagen. 1954~1967.
Models included the 1954 Metro and the 1967 Meteor with an SCO engine. BFC two-strokes were also fitted.

Manufactured by Eltrans A/S from 1987 to 1992
Powered by a 750W electric motor, the attractive three-wheelers did not achieve good market penetration and the project was sold to a Swedish firm. It lay dormant for a few years until purchased by a German firm who built them under the name "City-EL" with a considerably more powerful engine.

Philbertz Gregersen

The firm was a major retailer of mopeds and cyclemotors including Falke, Falter, Imperial, Mopedo and Stoewer Greif. Engines used were Zundapp, JLO and BFC.
They also sold a large range of spare parts and components for mopeds.
The Mopedo scooter had a Zündapp engine, and the moped a BFC.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2008 by Per Nielsen and Nicholas Bech, their motorcycles are custom/cafe specials which have received considerable attention.
