The Imp was a motorcycle produced between 1913 and 1914.
Based on the JES, this simple ultra-lightweight machine had a small 1hp engine made by J. E. Smith of Gloucester. Construction was very basic and the engine had aiv and outside flywheel. It was mounted above the bottom bracket of a stock bicycle and drove the rear wheel by belt over a jockey pulley used to set the tension. It was fitted with braced forks.
