Aero Caproni 75 Capriolo Sport
Caproni had been founded in the 1900's as an aircraft manufacturer and began motorcycle production after World War Two. One of their first models was the Capriolo 75, notable for its use of a pressed-metal frame and a 'face cam' engine, which also featured a longitudinal crankshaft, rather than the conventional transverse layout. Sports versions won their class in the 1954 Milan-Taranto and 1955 Giro Motociclistico d'Italia.
