Mountaineer were motorcycles produced from 1920 to 1924, by Richard Wylde of Marsden, Yorkshire. There was no connection with the earlier make of the same name built in Baker Street, London.
1921 A Sturmey-Archer gearbox was an option, as was a two-speed racing model.
1922-1923 Those options disappeared and it was back to the original machines.
1924 A three-speed Albion gearbox was a further option. It was the final year of production.
