Sphynx Motorcycles

Made in Belgium by Ets. Sphynx of Liège from 1923 to 1929 utilising JAP sidevalve and OHV motors of 346cc and 490cc, with mainly Burman gearboxes and English chassis components.

For 1927, the model names were standardised, with the sidevalve machines named Touriste and the OHV models named Sport.

The company was hard-hit by the sudden economic downturn of 1929 and despite the high quality of its machines closed that same year.
