Highway Mechanical and Air Conditioning Services, the parent company of Highway Sidecars, has been in business for more than 25 years, owned by the same family.
After 22 years of manufacturing sidecars, Ron and June Hurdis decided to call it a day and sold the business of HRD, DJP Sidecars to us. We also purchased Higgins Sidecars from Geoff Higgins, who retired from sidecar manufacturing this year.
We, Jim Coombe and Terry Seebohm, have been involved with sidecars since the mid 1960's, as constructors of scrambles, road race and road sidecars both on and off the track.
The third hand in the business, Jim's son David, has been with us since July 2004 and is an asset to us.
