The National Motorcycle Museum of Italy was opened in 1993 as the result of three friends who combined their private collections to create the first public motorcycle museum in Italy.

The collection consists of over 250 machine covering more than 50 marques built from the late 1800s and early 20th century through the interwar and postwar eras.

The displays include a Frera four-valve of 1924, another Frera, a v-twin of 1140cc and a Moto Guzzi 500 GTV of 1937 belonging to the artist Antonio Ligabue. There are many Grand Prix racers, and fine machines from Bimota. Aermacchi, Benelli, BSA, Ducati, Frera, Harley Davidson, Henderson, Innocenti, MV Agusta, Norton, Piaggio, Rudge and Triumph.
