Manufactured: Kvarnsveden, Sweden
Axel Scherling, a foreman at Kvarnsveden paper mill, was interested in engines. In 1903 he bought a factory-made frame and built his first motorcycle.
Five years later he had finished his first car, powered by a 6hp twin. It is thought that began life as an Oldsmobile or Northern which Scherling improved. The front end has the appearance of an Oldsmobile, but there the similarity ends.
He built a second car in 1915, a four-seater powered by a 4-cylinder 20hp Scania-Vabis engine, and around 1916 Scherling built two more motorcycles.
