A Brief History of the Marque
Manufactured: 1978-1985
Designed and built by Edmondo Rossi using Hiro 2-stroke engines in the 1970s, these motocross machines achieved great popularity with local riders. The firm was acquired by the Campanelli brothers, a Pesaro company which specialized in the production of off-road motorcycles of 50, 125 and 250cc for motocross and enduro.
The 50cc models (cinquantini) used Minarelli engines, and the larger displacement machines were fitted with Hiro engines, with power outputs between 26hp for the 125 and up to 38hp for the 250cc machines. Particularly interesting is the Maltry Hiro 320cc Sammy Miller, built in collaboration with Maltry of Sweden.
Motocross models included the Trans-AMA "Winning" with a Hiro engine.
