In the early 1930s the Siai Marchetti aircraft company in Milano were involved with Miller Balsamo, building aluminium bodywork for competition machines.
Shortly after World War II the company built small numbers of motocarro three-wheelers powered by the Garelli aviocompressore 220cc engine as a means of transport within the plant.
Advertising as Marchetti F.A. of Milano they built Stabil Scooter trailers, and in 1954 offered a range of Stabil motocarro.
