A Brief History of the Italian Marque
In the twenties the firm of E. Longoni was importing and selling American Evans 100cc twostroke engines, magneto ignition and belt drive.
The engine was sold to equip bicycles but it appears Longoni also built complete motorized bicycles under the same brand.
They were commercially successful, but there is no further mention of the firm after 1924.
N.B. Several European manufacturers imported &/or manufactured machines based on the Evans Motorcycle
