ROS 1500, 1970

Photographed by L. Skartsis near Monastiraki, Athens.

Manufactured in Athens by Stavros Konstantinides O.E. (previously of Alfa-Ros), the ROS three-wheeler trucks were the most successful of their kind in Greece, with many thousands produced and sold all over the country in they years 1968 to 1976, when production ceased.

Referred to by their owners as the 'Rosaki' (meaning 'little Ros') it was one of the most robust and reliable vehicles used in Greece during that period.
