A Brief History of the Marque
Hans Schulte founded Metallveredelungs GmbH in Brackwede, and in 1949 registered the company
name "Dreistern-Fahrradfabrik Hans Schulte GmbH", still based in Brackwede. Both companies
"Metallveredelung" and "Dreistern" produced motorcycles and mopeds to about in 1954. This year
Schulte moved to Brackwede Heepen, handed the Dreistern brand of the company in Heepen and
apparently briefly built some scooter models in the Metallveredelung company around 1956.
Subsequently records of the company and the brand Dreistern vanished.
