A Brief History of the Marque
1924-1930 Engineer Anton Bayerlein, Munich
The Bayerland by Anton Bayerlein was equipped mainly with English-built JAP engines of 250 and 500 cc engine capacity classes. The models were well designed and had some racing versions were produced alongside the series production. Sepp Giggenbach rode a machine with a 990 cc V-twin-cylinder JAP engine in 1927, and at the Grand Prix at the Nürburgring the machine caused a sensation. Three years later the economic crisis brought an end for the Bayerland concern.
