Built by Jean Paul Buche in the 1970s, it was powered by a 848cc flat-twin engine from a Panhard PL 17. Only one was built. (Two, apparently. See note from Jon Petersen below.)
En 1975, elle fut transformée en moto de tourisme (Double phares, démarreur electrique. selle biplace, cale pieds AR et échappement homologué)
Cette moto - rachetée par le Musée de Savigny les Beaune a été remontée avec son équipement course d'origine.
In 1975, it was converted into a touring motorcycle (dual headlights, electric starter, dual seat, rear footpegs and homologated exhaust)
Owned by the Savigny les Beaune Museum, this motorcycle been reassembled with its original race equipment. Another Tigre, a racing sidecar combination, has been displayed at the magnificent Chateau de Savigny.
45 years later another Tigre was constructed by Raphael Choquet of Gironde using similar components, although the end result bears little resemblance to its predecessor - Tigre 2020.

"Tigre" - french racing motorcycles with Panhard engines
Hi!
I notice, that you on your great site has written that only one example of these bikes exist.
I can see that the owner now has at least two - the one you show, solo, and with Renault 8 discs up front.
The other is a sidecarmachine, with a large drum up front.
This picture is visible through Google maps - it is from 2019:
