A Brief History of the Marque
Manufactured by Paul Blauseur, 100, avenue des Ternes, Paris in the 1920s.
After the Great War, Paul Blauseur sold war surplus motorcycles and later became an agent for Indian. A rather large fellow, he had a penchant for sidecars and participated in various races and endurance events which were an excellent means of advertising, as was having his machines photographed with an attractive champion swimmer who he was "teaching to ride".
Blauseur built two models: The Blauseur scooter, and later the Blauseurette motorcycle. Documentation exists of Models D and E, but predecessors are currently unknown. Both were powered by B.C. engines with Picard 2-speed gearboxes.
