Speedwell was a motorcycle produced in Alcester, Warwickshire, before the First World War.
Established in June 1899, their address in 1900 was Priory Works, Alcester, near Redditch.
This firm was best known for the production of sidecars, although it did assemble some motorcycles.

N.B. The Speedwell name was in use in Australia in the same period. Speedwell automobiles were sold by New Speedwell Motor Company Ltd of 151 Knightsbridge, London, 1900-1908. All three companies were unrelated.
