Saxon Motorcycles

Saxon was a motorcycle produced by Nigel Saxon between 1989 and 1990.

This machine was a racing special with a unique frame fitted with a 350cc Armstrong water-cooled, tandem-twin, disc-valve, two-stroke engine driving a six-speed gearbox. The frame was a tubular spine and the suspension was rising-rate at both ends. The front end had telescopic forks, but the sliders were linked back to a spring unit in the frame, so the legs were empty. The rear had further linkage for the rear fork. The design was ingenious and worked very well.
