Introduced at the Milan EICMA exhibition in November 2007, the motorcycles were produced by a British firm which had them assembled in China. The Megelli range has been exported to 37 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, and to Australia.
The firm was apparently sold to a Malaysian company in 2014, and the megelli.com website was updated in 2015.
