Glenn Motorcycles

The Glenn motorcycle was produced in 1904 by W. W. Genn of Wimbledon, London.

This lightweight machine weighed 76lb/34.5kg and was powered by a Clement-Garrard engine which fitted into a frame with braced forks. It was constructed of Chater-Lea parts and the engine hung vertically under the downtube.

William Walmesley Genn was born in Bedeford c.1865. In 1906 he produced a 12 h.p. runabout featured in The Motor Cycle. Genn is featured in the results of various race meetings at Brooklands and elsewhere through the years 1904 to 1909.
