George A. Barnes died of pneumonia in Rochford, Essex
Barnes built motorcycles from 1904 to 1906. His 1904 machines were powered by 2½ hp, 3hp or 3½ hp Stevens engines. In 1910 he gained aviator's certificate No. 16 flying a Humber monoplane at Brooklands
