History
Ett av Tysklands första mc-företag som grundades 1902, flera motorcyklar importerades tidigt till Sverige. Wanderer var särskilt under 1920-talet mycket framgångsrika på tävlingsbanorna. K500 byggdes mellan 1927 och 1929 och var designad av Alexander Novikoff. Tillverkningen i Tyskland lades praktiskt taget ner 1929 då den fortsatte i Prag som Jawa. Denna har fått en ny framlykta från en sen 1930-talsbil och blivit omlackerad i rött. Inköptes 1970 för 100 kronor till museet.

Founded in 1902, Wanderer was one of Germany's first motorcycle marques and several of these were imported to Sweden in the pioneer era. Wanderer was particularly successful in competition during the 1920s.
The K500 was built between 1927 and 1929 and was designed by Alexander Novikoff. Manufacturing in Germany was practically non-existent in 1929, but it continued in Prague as Jawa. This machine has a headlight from a late 1930s car and has been repainted in red. It was purchased by the museum in 1970 for 100 kronor.
