Nick of NZ writes, "Vincent and I spent a couple of hours there (his Minimotor is part of the collection) and he went over dozens of aspects of aero engines and engineering, with a special interest in casting, cooling etc... it was one of the most fascinating few hours of my life but I've forgotten all but the feeling I was left with.
Here he is standing next to an Anzani aero engine which he said Anzani had perfected a superfine sand casting technique which enabled ultra thin cooling fins and hence light weight."
