A total of approximately 16,500 Ner-a-Car machines were built between 1921 and 1926; some 10,000 Ner-A-Cars were manufactured in the U.S. and around 6,500 in the U.K. This 1922 example was purchased for the NZ Classic Motorcycles collection from an auction of the E.J. Cole collection in Las Vegas in March, 2015.
