Introduced during 1933, the mighty 11/50 was a side valve machine worthy of bearing the Brough Superior name which quickly established a loyal following. The new model appealed to those seeking the relaxed "loping" gait that only a high geared, unstressed large capacity side valve twin can deliver, or those requiring a high quality sidecar tug capable of hauling its impediment at high speeds. It cost a little less than £100 when first introduced, although the machines inherent charm and character were probably of greater significance than its cost for potential buyers.

The example offered was despatched by road on the 12th April 1937 to James Atherton and is listed on the works record card as being a 1936 model 11/50 built to "end of season" standard. It was equipped with a foot operated gearchange, Amal touring handlebars with dual internal twist grips, an aluminium oil bath primary chaincase and a G.S Cruiser sidecar with optional luggage grid. Offered today as a solo the motorcycle was restored by the vendor with the project being completed in 2012. The previous owner, believed to be the fifth keeper of the machine, had bought it during 1977 and stored it in an open garage. The machine had benefitted from a "lot of work to the engine, gearbox and magdyno" during this time. Work carried out by the present owner included the manufacture of a new fuel tank together with new paintwork etc. During the course of the rebuild it became apparent that there was very little wear to components suggesting that the machine had not covered many miles in its life. Described as being in very good condition throughout following its restoration.
