Juste quelques mots pour vous présenter ce site que j'ai commencé, sous forme de texte à l'origine, avant tout pour mon fils, Arnaud (ci-dessous), lorsqu'il a commencé à me poser des questions sur la moto : la façon dont fonctionnent les moteurs, la différence entre un deux temps et un quatre temps, etc ...
Comme je n'avais pas toujours la réponse à ces questions, je me suis dit qu'il me fallait réunir une certaine documentation et prendre des notes. Petit à petit, j'ai rajouté des chapitres, en fonction des événements et éléments remarquables ou anecdotiques qui ont le plus retenu mon attention.
Lorsque j'ai acheté un ordinateur, je me suis dit qu'il serait moins égoïste de faire profiter de ces notes à d'autres personnes, ayant constaté que le nombre de sites Internet traitant de technique motocycliste sont relativement peu nombreux.
Ce site essaie donc d'avoir un certain aspect pédagogique, mais ne prétend surtout pas être une référence en matière technique ou historique : je n'en ai pas la compétence. Dans le domaine, je fais comme vous, j'apprends petit à petit en lisant "L.V.M.", "Moto-Légende" ou "Moto d'Epoque et d'Exception" (pub. Gratuite).
Je n'ai certainement pas couvert tout le sujet de la moto. Particulièrement, j'aurais voulu ajouter un sujet sur les plus grands pilotes motos. Mais à force de compléter, on ne termine jamais : ce sera pour plus tard, peut être."

"Just a few words to introduce you to this site that I started, originally in text form, primarily for my son, Arnaud (below), when he started asking me questions about motorcycling: the way engines work, the difference between a two-stroke and a four-stroke, etc...
As I did not always have the answer to these questions, I told myself that I had to gather some documentation and take notes. Little by little, I added chapters, depending on the remarkable or anecdotal events and elements that caught my attention the most.

In the field, I do like you, I learn little by little by reading "L.V.M.", "Moto-Legend" or "Moto d'Epoque et d'Exception" (free pub).
I certainly haven't covered the whole subject of the motorcycle. In particular, I would have liked to add a subject on the greatest motorcycle riders. But by dint of completing, we never finish: it will be for later, perhaps."
